Stumbleine - Fade Into You

The Bristol-based band Stumbleine is a bit of a mystery. But it is not a mystery to them
how to make a chill dreamy exit theme for these last summer days.

It's a Mazzy Star cover too....

Flying Lotus - Putty Boy Strut (Video)

Ok, ringtone music has a bad rap. But when Flying Lotus makes a ringtone,
it's awesome because Flying Lotus made it.

Robot chipmunks get pitch fucked. Rihanna cake claps pick up the pace.
Bass drops in past the halfway point.
Sparkling chimes and hushed strings guide you back home.

Second single off 'Until The Quiet Comes' due October 2 via Warp Records.

Can you wait for it?

T.I. - Trap Back Jumpin

It's not yet quite clear whether this is off the upcoming 'Trouble Man' but its
always good to hear T.I. and DJ Toomp together. Just like 'What You Know',
it's a feast of dark expansive synths, banging drums and T.I. snarling yet smooth like
only he can.

T.I.  is in prime form, absolutely slaughtering the track lyrically. His flow is at its
nimblest, alternating from mush mouth to Evian-clear at the drop of a dime.
Over the course of the track, he hammers home in a nut shell
 - KING back, you could get a sack.

And it's a great feeling.

Child Actor - If You Loved Me

Segdie Ogilvy and Max Heath are cousins. Their musical collaboration is
Child Actor.

This piece of their upcoming 'Victory' LP due fall is a cut of psychedelic ska,
heavy on ambience, dreamy arpeggios and airy voices. It's a slow burn, alternating
tempo from straight house to a reggae wind.

One for the floaters.

Raekwon - Keep It Politics

Raekwon is stays one of the most active members of the Wu-Tang Clan, popping up
in the most unexpected of places. 2 Chainz's mixtape? A$AP Mob's mixtape?
Whatever. It is always great to hear a few darts from the master chef.

Here he pops on Closed Sessions Vol. 2 from the Chicago-based label of the same
name. Better yet, he's got DJ Babu behind the boards who ginsu-knives a funky
bass, xylophone and guitar sample to provide the perfect canvas for Raekwon's
vivid Wu-Gambino narratives.

The whole thing shines like African gold from Ghana.

Tinashe - Boss (Ryan Hemsworth remix)

Tinashe is a singer from Kentucky. She gets her exotic looks from having Zimbabwean,
Danish, Norwegian and Irish blood from her parents. This is a cut off her mixtape
'In Case We Die' that she dropped in February 2012. While we salivate for her
next mixtape 'Reverie,' Ryan Hemsworth - another Canadian export killing the game right now -
has graced us with this official remix to keep the thirst at bay till then.

He surrounds her vocals with a flurry of chimes and percussion that switches from
congas and fingersnaps to an 808-led trap chorus. He tops it all off with fluttering coos
and stuttering vocal samples. And Tinashe?

Besides crooning languid from behind a curtain of reverb, she's waiting for you to come and get it.

That's right, daddy....

Com Truise - Chemical Legs

Com Truise makes '80s music. Yeah a more Blader Runner-esque 1980s
were we might have been denied the joys of Mr. Reagan. As a musician,
he is a synth warlord with a no-joke arsenal. He unrolls melodies of bright
crystalline synths, grooving it out with swift stabs of guttural bass.

Occasionally, as in this instance, he throws in some heavily processed
(maybe Autotune...?) vocals that are reminiscent of HAL. This is his
hard hitting gem, contributed to the Adult Swim Singles Program.
