Shak. - Lately

Continuing the streak of mysterious producers, here is Shak. All that is

known is that he is18 years old and from Netherlands.

This cut here oozes ambience. The mix is quiet, percussion clinks

and clanks, bass swells gently and guitar melodies speak from miles away.

For his second song, this young man shows a lot of promise.

Twigs - EP (Stream)

The Weeknd presented the world with a mysterious male R&B lothario.

But girls wanna have fun too (very necessary Cyndi Lauper reference, not?).

Enter Twigs coming out of the UK.

But they only share an aura of mystery. Twigs is not as depraved -  more of a seductive

strange bird cooing in the night. There's a hint of something askew but its not clear what.

Yet that is the source of the allure.

Much like the previously released sleeper hit 'Ache', the EP's instrumentation is heavy on mood,

full of ambient touches, frequently erring on the side of minimalism.

Aching for some more music from this one.

Lindsay Lowend - Mmmmm

Trap rap beats meet ambient chillout meets house. It's not a beat - it's a journey to a serene
yet groovy place, in the music you can hear waves crashes and seagull cries.

That's all I can tell you about Lindsay Lowend. I couldn't find any information about her
anywhere online.

Lindsay Lowend is a mystery
but the music is a startling revelation.

Bounce.
