King Louie (feat. Juicy J & Pusha T) - My Hoes They Do Drugs

King Louie is considered to be the don dada of the Chicago drill scene. Besides
Sasha Go Hard's last mixtape which was pretty dope, nothing on the scene ever caught
my ear. But this ominous anthem powered by a surging nocturnal synth is intoxicating as hell.
Well, it's a song about drugs. Duh!

Better yet, two of the most revered voices on the topic show up - Juicy J and Pusha T.
And they ain't slouching here by any means.

Here's the fix that'll hold you over till King L's 'Dope & Shrimp' drops.

Lockah - "Please, Lockah, Don't Hurt 'Em"

Scottish producer Lockah is all hot and ready to drop his second EP out November 7
via Mishka. This joint titled after the EP is a gorgeously bi-polar eargasm,
swinging from trap to house over the course of five minutes.

It's starts with bouncing progressive house chords and that bass drum thump.
But that's soon all eaten up by rave synths, pitched-up vocals and trap percussion.
It's a constant tug and pull through the track.

We probably should let Lockah hurt us.

Lana Del Rey - Ride (Video)

10 minutes of Lana del Rey's Americana magic.
It's beautiful, romantically bleak and outrageously epic.

Anything else said about this thing is superfluous.

Showbiz & AG feat. Frank V - The Soul

Showbiz and A.G. are one of the veteran hip-hop duos, up there with the likes of
Mobb Deep. While heads still lose sleep over the next D.I.T.C. album, these two
cooked up Mugshot Music which dropped on October 9 via D.I.T.C.

Respect!

Fat Joe feat. Rick Ross & Juicy J - Instagram That Hoe

Considering how rappers love Instagram, it seems about time someone gave the popular
app some audio love. How Fat Joe became that dude, I really can't say.

One thing that the tune makes clear is that Juicy J has a monopoly on the business
of uber catchy uber repetitive uber simple choruses. Maybe its a good thing he
can't say 'no' to drugs.

Oh and Rick Ross mispronounces words because he's a bawse like that.

You'll never look at your smart phone the same again...

Jesse Boykins III & MeLo-X - The Perfect Blues (Machinedrum remix)

Machinedrum goes absolutely bonkers on this remix. He goes for a jungle-tinged
take on this collab from singer songwriter Jesse Boykins III and producer/rapper
MeLo-X

This is from their full length 'Zulu Guru' out on Ninja Tune on October 30.

The Twilight Sad - Sick (Com Truise Remix)

Com Truise  seems to be campaigning to be a synth demi-god. The fab thing
is that he uses drum sequencing of the now while steeped in 80s bad hair analog
antics.

Then he just had to go and churn out this remix of The Twilight Sad's 'Sick'.

Totally unnecessary. In a very necessary way.
